He is widely called "panda" because of his big and attractive eyes which resembles those of pandas. Also it is because of his cute and sweet personalities.
He is from China and his real Chinese name is 黄子韬, which is read "Huang Zitao" according to the Chinese Pinyin system.
Personally, I don't know much about how Chinese people make their names nor the rules encoded in them. Therefore, I will just briefly introduce some meanings each Chinese character of his name has as far as I know. Chinese and Korean share many characters that have similar meanings between the two languages.
One thing I certain is that 黄 which is read "Huang" is his family name
and 子韬 which is read "Zitao" is his given name.
First, 黄(huáng) means "yellow" as far as I know as a Korean. I don't know what meaning does that character have in actual Chinese language but I guess that character is commonly used as a family name in China. In general, if a letter is used as a family name, usually it contains null meaning.
Second, 子(zi) means "son" and 韬(tāo) means "sheath (a storage to contain a sword)" though I'm not sure those mean exactly the same with real Chinese language.
Well, it seems that when combining both letters there comes "a son of a sword" which would metaphorically mean "a boy with nice competence of physical activities or fighting skills".
That is quite appropriate name for him because he is good at martial arts :)
Now let's move on to his birth date.
He was born on 2 May 1993. The year 1993 was "the Year of Chicken" according to the Chinese zodiac sign system.
And his constellation sign is Taurus.
He has both parents but no sibling.
His height is known to be 183cm. He belongs to the group of tall members.
He is in the role of lead rapper (Actually he has a nice voice that is appropriate for rapping).
Personally, the first impression I had when I first saw Tao was "He looks so masculine and tough".
Well, it was till then. He is actually super cute, charming and baby-like boy who loves laughing but also prone to shed tears which means he has rich sensibility.
However, it is also true that he is yet masculine and cool guy who is excellent at martial arts and manly things.
