His stage name "Luhan" is exactly the same with his real name.
He is called a "deer" by many fans because his real name exactly means "deer" and also his innocent and pure face resemble those of deer.
He is from China and his real Chinese name is 鹿晗, which is read "Lu Han" according to the Chinese Pinyin system.
Personally, I don't know much about how Chinese people make their names nor the rules encoded in them. Therefore, I will just briefly introduce some meanings each Chinese character of his name has as far as I know. Chinese and Korean share many characters that have similar meanings between the two languages.
One thing I certain is that 鹿 which is read "Lu" is his family name
and 晗 which is read "Han" is his given name.
First, 鹿(lù) means "deer" as far as I know as a Korean.
Second, 晗(hán) means "dawn" though I'm not sure that means exactly the same with real Chinese language.
Anyway, we can easily conclude that his name includes the meaning of "deer of the dawn".
When I first knew the meaning of his name, I was really impressed. "Deer of the dawn"... isn't it so romantic and lyrical? And it is quite certain that he even resembles deer! Also dawn is the most sensuous and serene time of the day. That is 100% perfect name for him and I appreciate his parent's inspiration for naming (though "Lu" is his family name :)
Now let's move on to his birth date.
He was born on 20 April 1990. The year 1990 was "the Year of Horse" according to the Chinese zodiac sign system.
And his constellation sign is Taurus.
His height is known to be 178cm.
He is in the role of main vocal and lead dancer (Actually his voice is so mellow and gentle which makes me to think I'm inside the forest at the dawn with an elegant deer beside me...oh I'm so expressive isn't it? lol lol lol).
Personally, the first impression I had when I first saw Luhan was "He is the main character of the romance comics".
He looks so beautiful like Adonis yet he says he is quite masculine but not that I know of lol lol. I mean he is actually manly and brave but I guess his attractions would be more naturally exposed through his pretty looks.
Though he is not the member of the team any more, I still love him >_<
