Introducing SUHO

The boy in the business class of the aircraft is called Suho (and he looks so innocent in this picture lol).

His stage name is "Suho" and I guess it has no relation with his real name. 

He is called the "mom" of EXO not only because he is the leader of the team but also he is kind of reliable and caring person. It is said that alll the members rely on him when they are in trouble or tired.

Actually his real Korean name is 김준면, which may be romanized as "Kim Junmyeon".

Unlike other western countries, in Korea, a person's name consists of family name and given name where family name comes first and given name comes last.
That means is his family name is "Kim"
and is his given name is "Junmyeon".

So you can call him "Kim Junmyeon" or just "Junmyeon" which is his given name.

Anyway, it would be unfamiliar with you guys but a person's name in Korea is usually comprised of three Chinese characters. One for family name and the other two for given name. Certainly, that borrowed Chinese characters are read differently in Korea's own phonological way.

One thing to focus on here is that there is special meaning to each Chinese character and of course each name has their own meaning.

Chen's name in Chinese character is written as 金俊勉
Quite complex right?

Each Chinese character is read 金(kim)/俊(jun)勉(myeon) in Korea's own phonological system. That means Chinese people will read these characters differently to Korean people.

Now, lets briefly explain the meaning included in his real Korean name.

First, 金(kim) which is his family name means "gold". But one thing you should know is that people usually don't give any substantial meaning to their first name although there exists its own corresponding meaning. That means although the Chinese character written above means "gold" in normal conversation, his family name itself has no relation to gold or something. It is just borrowed for the sound only.

Second, 俊(jun) which is the second letter of his given name means "the person who is excellent and outstanding in terms of wisdom and talent".
and finally, 勉(myeon) means "to work diligently or make an effort".

Therefore, when combining both there comes "the excellent and diligent person".

Anyway, that was for his name. It was quite long :)

Now let's move on to his birth date.

He was born on 22 May 1991. The year 1990 was "the Year of Sheep" according to the Chinese zodiac sign system.
And his constellation sign is Gemini.

He has both parents and one older brother in his family members.

His height and weight is not revealed officially but I guess his height is just average of those of members in EXO.

He is in the role of leader and sub vocal (Actually his lyrical voice is so pleasant to hear).

Personally, the first impression I had when I first saw Suho was "He is really handsome and has nice voice".
He has the lyrical voice of a boy yet he is still powerful when singing on the stage.
I like him caring for his members and helping them when they are in need.
