His stage name is "Kris" and I guess it has no relation with his real name. (Or Kris may be the name used when he was in Canada... I just guessed lol don't bother)
He is called the "galaxy" by many fans after he used that word frequently during the TV program "EXO's Showtime".
He was born in China but immigrated to Canada when he was about 9 years old. Now, his nationality is Canada. His real Chinese name is 吳亦凡, which is read "Wu Yifan" according to the Chinese Pinyin system.
Personally, I don't know much about how Chinese people make their names nor the rules encoded in them. Therefore, I will just briefly introduce some meanings each Chinese character of his name has as far as I know. Chinese and Korean share many characters that have similar meanings between the two languages.
One thing I certain is that 吳 which is read "Wu" is his family name
and 亦凡 which is read "Yifan" is his given name.
First, 吳(wú) means "the name of a country once existed in the old Chinese history or to shout out loud" as far as I know as a Korean. I don't know what meaning does that character have in actual Chinese language but I guess that character is commonly used as a family name in China. In general, if a letter is used as a family name, usually it contains null meaning.
Second, 亦(yì) means "also" and 凡(fán) means "ordinary or general" though I'm not sure those mean exactly the same with real Chinese language.
Well, it is quite hard for me to understand the meaning included in his name though.
Maybe it would mean that being natural and ordinary is the best thing... Just my guess so no certainty :)
Now let's move on to his birth date.
He was born on 6 November 1990. The year 1990 was "the Year of Horse" according to the Chinese zodiac sign system.
And his constellation sign is Scorpio.
His height is known to be 187cm. And he is the tallest member among the group.
He is in the role of main rapper (Actually he has a nice voice that is appropriate for rapping but I guess his voice also matches well with ballad).
Personally, the first impression I had when I first saw Kris was "He is so handsome".
He has a nice body figure and also tall height which make him to seem like a model.
He is also masculine yet I guess he has also a little bit of sense of humor I think :)
Though he is not the member of the team any more, I still love him >_<
